New York! New York!

Our summer soon came to an end with our last trip  spent in New York. After staying with my bf's family in Boston for 2 weeks, we decided to venture out into the big apple for our last weekend together. I was also planning to meet up with a long lost friend I have not seen in 6 years, and hell was it great to finally meet her!! I got her a hello kitty brush holder set as my reunion gift, since she was a fanatic fan of Sanrio and especially Hello Kitty (she is half asian so it's perfectly understandable). Since it was my first time out in NYC, I was of course really excited to see all the city lights and crazy traffic around Time Square, and hell was I not disappointed..it was seriously my first time experiencing a queue to walk along the pavement...it took us a good half hour to get a few meters with our big ass luggage towards our hotel..which was apparently 'just across the road'. Either ways, the experience from the word go had been phenomenal, we had at least two people coming up to us asking for drugs. it was crazy...lol but I guess that's what you get living in the big apple!!

BOSTON...my dream city..

A week or two after our extremely fulfilling trip out to Vegas which left us both exhausted and seemingly broke, we decided that our next destination should be somewhere not too heavy on our pockets, and so Boston it was. Not because it was any cheaper but because my bf's family lived out there, so crashing with them for the next 2 weeks seemed more than ideal to us. After another 2 hours of plane ride, we finally reached my bf's home sweet home, and I couldn't have felt more happier to be there.. The place was so warm and welcoming and the people were actually quite nice for city folks. Plus my bf's mum is crazy good with home cooked meals! I never ate so much and so well for so long lol. Either ways Boston really captured my heart in the way that the city was not too busy or crowded yet it had everything any big cities should have, and if you want to get away from the bustle and hustle of the city life then you pretty much can just sneak into a nearby park or just go back home since most of the residential areas were very peaceful and quiet...Loved it. I pretty much told my bf that if we were ever going to settle down in the states, Boston is definitely on top of my list :)

My U.S.A Summer Trip!! First Up!...Las Vegas!!

On the beautiful summer months of June through to July, I voyaged over the waters for 23 hours to the vast land of wonders of what is the U.S.A. After a grueling 3 layover stops, I finally made it safe and sound into my boyfriend's loving arms. This summer would be the summer I would never forget. Not only have we been separated for 6 whole months before finally getting to see each other again, it was also my first time out in the states, and I was definitely not disappointed :)

Me and my man on our way to VEGAS yo!! ;)
The trip to Vegas took approximately 2 hours for us..and so by the time we eventually arrived, it was already pretty late...but that didn't stop us from dumping our bags at the hotel and heading straight out to explore the sin city!! The first night was an epic insight to the world of Vegas. Of course we stayed up until 4 am, and of course we already lost about $200 to the slots from the word go...lol but hell..we tell ourselves..it was all part of our great adventure together..and we are going to make the most of every single minute of it :)

Our epic 'First Night' in the Sin City!
Date Nights in Sin City

We spent 4 days 3 nights altogether in Vegas, and hell did we make sure to make the most of every single minute of it!! Besides scavenging through slot machines in various hotels and casinos on the main strip, we also managed to venture outside the chaotic bustle of Vegas. On the third and final full day of our stay we decided to go on a full day trip out to the Grand Canyons and also the Hoover Dam. This excursion included an early one hour bus drive out onto Arizona side, on which after too many free cappuccinos from our hotel breakfast buffet, I suddenly had the agonizing urge to use the bathroom. Dammit. It happens every single time I have to travel somewhere far and of course this time being there was not going to be any bathroom breaks or stops because we were in the middle of the dessert (surprise surprise!). So yep, I pretty much had to hold it and nearly passed out in the process but what awaited us at the end of our journey was well and truly worth every squealing minute of it.
We flew over the Grand canyon in a helicopter, and I was so excited because it was my first time on one! The view from above looking down onto the canyons was beyond amazing, the marvels of natures work over time is speechlessly spectacular. Being able to share it with someone you love really made it even more special. It was a moment we both will never forget.

Our helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon..it was AMAZING!!!

Lime Crime Makeup inspired looks

Lime Crime for me had been a really fun experiment! The product was so pigmented and vibrant that if applied correctly anyone can seriously pull it off as a very wearable look. I have tried out two different styles of makeup featuring this palette and to be fair I am not disappointed! It is definitely a look I can go by and would most certainly wear out given the chance :P

This look is a Rita Ora Inspired Makeup recreated by using Lime Crime China Doll Palette

The second look is Nicki Minaj Inspired Makeup look recreated using the same Lime Crime Palette

Lemme know what U guys think in the comments!! :D
